Privacy policy
This policy explains how Second Nature (“the studio”) handles personal information collected through this website. Questions about it can be sent to contact@secondnature.works.
What is collected
The site only collects what you choose to send through the contact form:
- your name
- your email address
- your company, if you add one
- your message
The site has no analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and does not build a profile of visitors.
Why it is used
Your details are used only to read your enquiry and reply to you by email. The legal basis is the studio’s legitimate interest in responding to people who get in touch, or the steps you ask for before entering into a project.
Who receives it
- Form service. The contact form is delivered to the studio’s inbox by a third party form service, which processes your details on the studio’s behalf.
- Hosting. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
- Email. Replies are handled through the studio’s email provider.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK and the European Economic Area. Where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Your details are never sold or shared for marketing.
How long it is kept
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to reply and follow up, and are deleted within 24 months unless they lead to a project, in which case they are kept as part of normal business records.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information held about you, ask for it to be restricted, object to its use, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email contact@secondnature.works and you will receive a reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how your information is handled, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or, in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.

Unless stated otherwise, the design, text and creative work on this site belong to Second Nature or are shown with permission. You may view and share links to the site, but you may not copy, reproduce or reuse its content without written permission.
Clients, artists and trademarks
Names, logos, artwork and photographs of clients, artists, labels and brands belong to their respective owners. They are shown to describe work the studio has contributed to, and do not imply endorsement. Awards and nominations named on the site were given to the artists and projects concerned, not to the studio.
Case studies
Case studies are shared privately on request. Any material shared in this way is confidential and must not be copied, published or passed on.
No warranty
The site is provided as is. Every effort is made to keep it accurate and available, but no guarantee is given that it will always be complete, current or uninterrupted. Nothing on the site is an offer to contract; projects are agreed separately in writing.
Links to other sites
Links to other websites, such as social media, are provided for convenience. The studio is not responsible for their content or practices.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the studio is not liable for any loss arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without affecting any rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
